Howdy!
Story Idea Recap: Ghosts and People That Hunt Them.
The more I explain this story idea to people the stranger the responses become. I’ve found it’s usually an initial interested reaction like “Wow that’s crazy” then it becomes really serious and a story about someones personal ghost adventure that still haunt them to this day.
It seems like everyone has had their own experiences with spirits.
I’m not one to accredit Fox News as my official news outlet but they reported that “a new study of 2,000 people found that most people have a stronger connection to the paranormal than one might think – 60 percent of those studied felt they had seen a ghost in their lifetime. In addition, more than 40 percent of those surveyed think their pet has seen one too.” (Link: https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/60-percent-of-americans-claim-to-have-seen-ghosts)
Your pets see ghosts too?! (What the…?!?!)
The more data and research I find on this topic the more people I want to talk to about there own experiences.
The woman I plan on using as my main source and “Face” of my story is someone with a long history in the ghost hunting zeitgeist.
“Linda the Ghost Hunter” has been professional ghost hunting for over 25 years. I shall accompany her on a hunt March 1st.
I’ll keep you guys updated on how that goes.
If you don’t hear from me I was probably possessed by a demon.

First off, I hope you haven’t been possessed. Although I will admit it would make for a good story. Your blog got me thinking about how many people truly believe in ghosts. Personally, I don’t but I am not opposed to believing in them. I wonder how many other people think like me in that regard. I think some people say they don’t believe in ghosts, because they fear judgment. I’m curious to know more statistics of “believers”. Keep us updated, Cam.

I think your topic is very interesting and something I would definitely read. Having said that, I believe in ghosts and even though I have yet to experience some paranormal activity. Moreover, I also believe that some spirits have gotten left behind and are unable to cross over. In other words, I have heard that there are angry spirits and good spirits who are lost and don’t know that they are dead. In addition, it sounds crazy how dogs can see ghosts, but I do believe it. This is because it reminds me of how young innocent children below the age of either five or four years old can see ghosts.
Furthermore, the statistics don’t surprise me because a lot of people are paranoid and some people say that ghosts can sense a person’s energy. So, when a person’s energy is weak and they are showing that they are scared the ghosts will go after them. Good Luck on the ghost hunt and I really like how you ended your blog post I found it hilarious!

Great opportunity on going ghost hunting with Linda, that will definitely help you with the story. I’m excited to hear from you about it. Did you think about how you can tell the story visually?
